Meet the NASF 2022 conference hosts!

We are pleased to present the NASF 2022 conference hosts (from the left):
Benedicte Simensen and Marianne Wethe Koch.

They are both talented seafood professionals based in Bergen, and we are so happy that they have accepted the challenge to be our conference hosts for NASF 2022.

Marianne Wethe Koch

holds the position as a Sustainability Manager in Cargill Aqua Nutrition, where she works to reduce the footprint and increase circularity in the aquaculture industry. In addition to her work, Marianne is also pursuing a master’s degree in Aquaculture at the University of Bergen, where she is currently writing a Master’s thesis on the use of insect meal in fish feed. Her background consists of a master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Marianne is from Trondheim but is now based in Bergen.

Benedicte Simensen

has been working in Mowi Global R&D and Technical since 2017 and now holds the position as Project manager with focus on salmon lice and development of sea site technology. Her background consists of a master’s degree in biotechnology and chemistry from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and a bachelor’s degree from the Norwegian School of Economics. She is from Eastern Norway but is now based in Bergen.
