Ola Kvalheim is CEO and Founder of Ode – a fully integrated Norwegian aquaculture company. Since inception in 2020 the company has been growing by more than 400% CAGR and are expecting USD 100m in revenues during 2025. It is offering a range of unique pre-rigor and live-chilled products from Norway and is already serving many of the leading retailers in Europe. The mission at Ode is to provide healthy and delicious cod to consumers globally, producing protein with the best environmental footprint and providing livelihoods in remote rural communities of Norway. Mr. Kvalheim grew up in one of those small rural communities on the west coast of Norway, where everything depended on the ocean. His educational background stems from London School of Economics and Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. Before founding Ode in 2020, he was an investment manager in the private equity partnership FSN Capital and prior to that an M&A advisor at Goldman Sachs in London and New York.

Yngve has more than 20 years’ experience in the aquaculture sector as a senior executive, adviser and investor. Yngve was chief executive of leading Norwegian salmon producer Salmar, and of international white fish supplier Aker Seafood during periods of successful growth. In both these roles Yngve was involved in evaluation of operational risk management strategies. Yngve also acts as strategic adviser to investors in the aquaculture section.
