The North Atlantic Seafood Forum is recognized as the world’s largest top executive seafood business conference. NASF 2025 aims to provide industry leaders with insights into markets, technology, sustainability, and seafood industry challenges.

Day 1: Technology Tuesday (March 4th)

The conference commences with “Technology Tuesday,” emphasizing advancements in sustainable practices and innovative solutions. The day begins at noon with “Cage Talk,” where leading producers discuss best practices in sustainable cage farming. Simultaneously, the “Pelagic Tuesday” session focuses on North Atlantic quotas for mackerel and blue whiting, while “Aqua Industry News” covers developments in feed, additives, and welfare. In the afternoon, the “NASFTech Aqua” session offers a speed showcase of technological innovations in aquaculture. The day concludes with discussions on emerging feed sources in “Feed Futures: Building Markets for Algae and Insects” and a networking reception hosted by the city of Bergen at Håkonshallen.



Day 2: Business Wednesday (March 5th)

“Business Wednesday” features strategic discussions on various sectors within the seafood industry. The day opens at 9:00 AM with the NASF 2025 Plenary Session, presenting keynotes designed to inspire seafood executives. Following the plenary, the “Salmon Summit” addresses current realities in salmon welfare and potential solutions. At the same time, the “Sustainability Summit” examines seafood’s critical role in the blue food transition amidst reputational challenges. Concurrently, the “White Fish Quality” session delves into advancements in fishing techniques, sorting and processing.

The networking lunch also features industry-focused sessions from DNV, PwC, and Deloitte, covering sustainable offshore aquaculture, emerging opportunities in a shifting landscape, and leveraging data for competitive advantage.

Post-lunch sessions include the “Seafood Investor Seminar Landbased” focusing on aquaculture land and new technologies, the “Aquafeed Summit” discussing resilient feed strategies, and the “Global White Fish Summit” analysing global supply and demand. Before the day concludes, we encourage all to join the inagural “Seafood Investor Farming White Fish” focusing on coldwater whitefish aquaculture. As per tradition, the day ends with a reception before the NASF Casual Networking Dinner.



Day 3: Investor Thursday (March 6th)

The final day, “Investor Thursday,” is dedicated to financial perspectives within the seafood sector. Starting at 9:00 AM, the “Seafood Investor Seminar” provides insights into investment opportunities and challenges across the industry. Sessions continue throughout the day, offering deep dives into specific investment areas and risk navigation strategies for sustainable growth. The conference concludes with a networking lunch, facilitating connections among delegates.
