Dag Sletmo
SCP/Client Advisor at DNB

Dag Sletmo is a senior advisor in the seafood division of DNB, the world’s largest seafood bank. Prior to joining DNB he was with Cermaq, the salmon farmer, and ABG Sundal Collier, an investment bank. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and an economics degree from NHH in Bergen.

Stål Hegglund
Industry Director for the Maritime Industry Association and Aquaculture Suppliers at The Federation of Norwegian Industries

He is responsible for the follow-up of the supplier and technology industry for aquaculture, fisheries, and the maritime sector with adjacent industries. Technology development, research, internationalization, recruitment, industry policy issues, and reputation building for the marine industries.

Stål has previous work experience from national and international IT, process, and HORECA companies. From 2002 to 2010, he led the Norwegian Seafood Council’s office in France and Germany and their marketing and profiling activities in 7 European countries.

He joined Norsk Industri from his position as the leader of the Norwegian aquaculture and innovation cluster NCE Aquaculture.”

Lars Konrad Johnsen
Business Developer at UTROR

 

Lars Konrad is a graduate in business economics. He has previously worked as an equity analyst responsible for the seafood sector at Fearnley Securities and Carnegie. Lars Konrad co-founded Utror in 2021 and is currently employed as a business developer in the company

Barbo Klakegg
Veterinarian, Head of the Åkerblå fish health department

Barbo Rimeslaatten Klakegg is a veterinarian and head of Åkerblå’s fish health department, which monitors fish health and welfare in aquaculture facilities along the entire coast, with offices from Fredrikstad in the southeast to Alta in the north. Barbo particularly focuses on industry collaboration to prevent lice and biosecurity challenges and also has extensive experience from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.

Marius Dalen
Ministry of Trade, Industri and Fisheries

Marius has since 2011 worked in the department of aquaculture. His area of work covers the legal framework of the aquaculture industry, new aquaculture technologies and seaweed aquaculture. He is currently the project manager for the ministry’s work to establish a regulatory framework for offshore aquaculture.

Before joining the ministry, he worked for 10 years at the Bellona Foundation where his main responsibilities were the organizations work on aquaculture, remediation of contaminated sediments/seabed and mining operations in Norway. 

Marius studied at the University of Agder and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, with a final project exploring the use of blue mussels to remove excess nutrients from fjord waters.
