Day 1 - Tuesday, March 3rd
The conference opens on Tuesday with a focus on technology, markets, and pelagic. NASF Tech AQUA, the forum’s flagship technology stream, will present cutting-edge developments in aquaculture systems, feed optimisation, fish welfare, and operational efficiency. The Innovation Award Candidate Showcase highlights breakthrough ideas transforming the seafood value chain.
Salmon Market Day Opens in new window., organised with Euronext and Oslo Børs, will provide a deep dive into global salmon prices, supply and demand, quality performance, and consumer trends, giving delegates insights to inform production and commercial strategy. In the afternoon, Pelagic Tuesday brings together science, industry, and fishing interests to tackle pressing questions around North Atlantic pelagic species, including quota alignment, sustainability, stock status, and long-term stability — discussions with implications beyond the pelagic sector. Evening networking allows participants to connect and discuss the day’s insights in an informal setting.
Day 2 - Wednesday, March 4th
Wednesday, the main day of NASF, begins with the Plenary Session: Managing Risk & Global Trade in the Seafood Industry, presented by Pareto Securities and AON. A CEO panel from leading global companies will explore how geopolitical shifts, trade disruptions, environmental pressures, and investment volatility are reshaping the seafood sector, sharing strategies for resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Following the plenary, delegates can engage with three strategic, high-impact streams, all essential to shaping the sector’s future:
- Pareto Global Salmon Summit – offering an in-depth perspective on the rapidly developing salmon industry, covering supply and demand dynamics, production innovations, and emerging technologies. This session brings together the world’s largest salmon producers for CEO panel discussions to share the latest insights. Delegates will gain a comprehensive view of production, sustainability, innovation, and market trends shaping the global salmon sector.
- Whitefish and Aquafeed Streams – examining two critical pillars of seafood production. The whitefish session explores strategic transformation amid shifting demand, rising costs, and environmental pressures, providing actionable insight on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. The Aquafeed Summit addresses feed as a defining strategic variable in modern aquaculture, examining market dynamics, evolving feed strategies, precision nutrition, and raw material innovation, equipping delegates to turn data into value and improve farm performance. Together, these sessions deliver both strategic perspective and operational knowledge across species-specific production, feed efficiency, and sustainable practices.
- Sustainability Summit – providing a platform for industry leaders to explore what has been achieved and what still needs to change in seafood sustainability. Through expert panels and practical discussions, delegates will examine solutions for responsible practices, supply-chain improvements, fish welfare, and long-term value creation. The session concludes with NASF’s first Sustainability Award Opens in new window., recognising outstanding leadership and measurable impact in environmental stewardship, resource efficiency, and responsible operations across the North Atlantic.
Day 2 - Thursday, March 5th
Thursday focuses on next-generation salmon production and digital transformation. Delegates will explore closed-containment at sea, offshore farming, and land-based systems to unlock capacity, improve performance, and support sustainable growth. The day also examines how seafood companies can become “Frontier Firms”, leveraging AI, cloud, IoT, and autonomous systems to scale operations, improve efficiency, ensure traceability, and empower workforces, demonstrating how innovation can transform operations while enhancing environmental and social outcomes.
Across all three days, NASF 2026 will bring together senior executives, investors, and thought leaders in a uniquely high-calibre setting. For more than two decades, NASF has been recognised as the premier executive seafood forum, offering a unique meeting place where industry leaders exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and shape the sector’s future. The conference combines strategic insight, operational knowledge, and high-level networking, making it an unmatched platform for decision-makers across the global seafood industry.
