We are proud to present the most comprehensive program in the 19-year history of NASF. A 20-session and 200 speaker strong conference, where industry leaders, experts, scientists and lawmakers are sharing their knowledge, insight, and expertise with our delegates.

Don’t miss Technology Tuesday

At noon 5th of February we kick off Technolgy Tuesday with a strong focus on new technology and solutions. And we have a broad range of companies and organizations present, from startups to well established companies.

Join sessions on how new Genetic technology drives breeding, Insects in feed are here to stay, Showcases for Seafood Innovation Award, The lates news from the aquaculture feed sector, Shrimp and Whitefish quality improvements, NASF Tec Aquaculture companies speed presentations and news from the research sectors.

Before we all meet at the reception in the beautiful 800-year-old Håkonshallen hosted by the mayor of Bergen, check out the sponsor events organized by IFFO and RFM from 5-6pm.

 

Wednesday starts with the renown NASF plenary session

At the following Salmon Summit the session will give answers to how the industry is to supply the growing demand for salmon, in a sustainable way followed by a debate among industry experts. At the parallel Sustainability Seminar, we will investigate the impacts and consequences the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive has for seafood businesses, while at the Pelagic Summit the spotlight will be on market and supply outlook, quota negotiations status and global overview on species and product demand.

During the networking lunch you can also join sponsor lunch events organized by Deloitte, DNV & PwC.

The afternoon sessions:
The Pareto Landbased Investment seminar will highlight investment opportunities within the land-based aquaculture and new aquaculture technology. While at the Global White Fish Summit product demand and supply, quota status, market and outlook will be followed by a panel debate mentored by Drew Cherry from IntraFish. New feed ingredients status – availability and demand is the main topic of the Aquafeed Summit.

Before the NASF networking reception and dinner at 7PM there is still time to join sessions and receptions organized by Corbion, Invest in Bergen, Grimsby & Humber and Benchmark.

Day 3 focus: The rising ocean temperatures and Investor presentations

After a good breakfast, we start the plenary Pareto Investor seminar, where major seafood companies participate. After the coffee break, we divide into two parallel investor seminars and kick of the very important Global Warming session. In this new session we will investigate the dramatic short term impacts the rising sea temperature has for the industry. Did you know that the average sea temperature has never been recoded higher than in 2023? A session too important to miss.
